In a usage data report covering June 2025 to January 2026 at pharmacy located on the site of an NHS Trust, the lockers supported 1,072 total orders/collections (roughly 2% of all prescriptions processed at that location), a strong indicator of real patient demand for an automated collection option.

A few highlights that speak directly to accessibility and convenience:

Out-of-hours collections are significant: ~30% of prescriptions were collected out of hours, showing how valuable 24/7-style access can be for people juggling work, caring responsibilities, or travel constraints.

Fast collections are common: the most common dwell time from contact to collection was 2–3 hours, and 63% of orders were collected within 24 hours.

Operational insight supports better service design: the report notes the most common collection time was 2pm, helping pharmacies understand peak usage and plan staffing/service flows accordingly.

Patient feedback: high satisfaction, clear learning

The same report includes ~40% user feedback response rate, with 97% overall positive sentiment, a strong signal that the experience works for real people.
